Installing HP Officejet 5500 Series AIO in Windows 7

It’s simple!

There are no Vista Drivers for this printer, let alone Windows 7 ones,  so don’t waste your time going through thdrop down options at Hp.com.

Officejet 5510 Aio" src="http://ian.may.name/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/hp5510.jpg" alt="HP OfficeJet 5510 AIO" />Instead go here: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software8/COL18679/dj-48308-1/HP_Vista_SF_Ph2A.exe

Download this, run it, and your HP 5500 Series Printer will work just fine.

I had the same issue. I too, have a 5510. I could only get Windows 7 to see
it as a scanner. Then I found and installed the file from that link I
provided in the post itself, and now it works fine!
