Get Paid To Park With AdSense

Do you use Adsense?

I’ve actually found better ways to monetize one or two of my web sites, but nonetheless I still find AdSense makes a useful contribution.

What about those spare domains that many of us having laying around, that we think we can use one day, but never quite around to putting to real use?

There’s plenty of domain parking businesses out there that will be glad to help you out there. Sedo and TrafficZ are the two that most readily spring to mind.

Well now there’s another way. Adsense.

Yes, AdSense for domains.  Google has had this for some time, but only for those people that had a huge number of them.

From today Google is releasing Adsense for Domains to all publishers so even if you’ve only got one spare domain, you’ll be able to put AdSense onto it, and perhaps make a few extra pennies.

My understanding is that it’s only currently open to U.S publishers, but Google are expected to soon make a worldwide option.

It’s easy enough to set up. You simply go to your registrar, and Park the domain on their server, as is an option, and then you point the A records to Google, along with a CNAME entry. It only takes a few minutes. Of course you may have to wait some hours for the changes to propogate through the Internet as is customary with any DNS  change you make.
